State Public Scientific-Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences'

The system of information support of ecological research created in the State Public Scientific-Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences is represented in the article. In SPSTL SB RAS' created bibliographic information system resources to provide consumers with environmental information, including electronic collection on ecology, components are the ekolotsiya, analyzes on the environment, problem-oriented databases of environmental issues, as well as public events and dissertations research. Ecological collection of SPSTL SB RAS' own generation includes bibliographical, reference and full-text data bases, reflecting various aspects of environmental research, and are free available at the library site. For users who prefer the paper version of the product, kept the traditional form of providing information - current bibliographies "Nature and natural resources of Siberia and the Far East, their protection and rational use" and "Problems of the North" as well as printed versions of environmental reviews. Public events held at the library, is a type of promotion of the environmental knowledge, which differ variety of topics and a variety of forms. The most popular among them - lectures and exhibitions of literature which is carried with the leading Russian and foreign environmental scientists and specialists. Ecological information complex unique in scope and content, is able to meet the diverse needs of consumers.
