Cultural heritage actualization in Russian museum-reserves

Today each museum independently is engaged in development of measures and projects on updating of the cultural heritage according to its type or profile, and also according to the needs of updating by the management and staff. The cultural heritage actualization in museum and exhibition practice and recreational activity is actual for many regions of Russia. Global transformations of museum phenomenon and expansion of museum activity are characteristic and for museum-reserves which are carrying out preservation of different types of a cultural heritage and environment. Now the «participatory culture» is a mainstream in process of interaction between the museum and society. That is why the essence and the directions of cultural heritage actualization are to be considered in a context of «participatory culture». The mechanism of transformation of cultural values from potential in relevant by revision of traditional ways and forms of cultural and educational activity is in the center of the author's attention. With extension of cultural tourism and modernization of museum-reserves activity the complex of historical, cultural and natural heritage starts being perceived as special and extremely significant social and economic resource for economy development in regions. The priority direction of updating of a cultural heritage in museum-reserves is cultural and educational activity. It creates favorable circumstances, forms motivation of visitors to perception of various manifestations of history and the culture, finally directed on cultural development of participation and updating of a cultural heritage by specific museum means (exhibitions, holidays, festivals, creative, theatrical and other laboratories, educational programs, etc.). Thus, and the museum exposition as the constant channel of communication, and each event or action in the museum becomes means of promoting of heritage, not only increasing number of visitors, friends of the museum, but also predetermining appearance of the new sponsors, ready to finance and support welfare projects and memorial estate actions. The innovative educational programs and events in a museum are similar to «the trigger mechanism» which due to staginess, art figurativeness, spatial prospects and natural environment awakens museum visitors interest to various forms of heritage.
