Information modeling of the complex the Kazachya Sloboda in Omsk
Preservation of monuments of architectural and cultural heritage is a main problem around the world recently. Deficiency of timely registration and records of such monuments lead to irretrievable losses of national essential. The need of application of computer modeling for activity on preservation a cultural heritage is already proved. It is necessary to mean technology of virtual reconstruction of objects which represent architectural and cultural essential by technology of information modeling (BIM) in the field of reconstruction and restoration. Also this technology is useful to the existing monuments because it may contain all information of them. The complex Kazachya Sloboda in Omsk, which has been being historical and architectural monument since 1993 year, also can be the example of necessary of using information modeling. A number of areas of activity causing using BIM technology during the work of creation of information model of Kazachya Sloboda - scientific and restoration, research and scientific and educational. There is a collecting data about Kazachya Sloboda on this stage of investigation. A certain sequence of actions for the organization of working process is defined. - First step is to introduce the historical background of Kazachya Sloboda origin, history of development the area of this place, Omsk and complex in particular - The next stage based on working with master territory plan. Initial boards and town-planning concept of Kazachiy suburb should be determinated. - Further step is collecting information about buildings placed at Kazachya Sloboda territory - Final phase during collecting information about Kazachya Sloboda is processing of the data collected and preparing obtained material to convert to information model. Information modeling possibilities allow realizing «from general to specific» principle of operation, which gives an opportunity to complete the model with actual data as new information about the object of study comes in. This principle allows forming Kazachya Sloboda territory general scheme. Also the article provides an example how to adapt collected information about house, monument in need of renovation, and how to use it to create information modeling. The necessity of saving cultural heritage objects in digital form is a major reason for using computer simulation technology, and especially this applies to monuments and entire architectural complexes. Kazachya Sloboda goes a long way to Omsk as a part of its history and as an unique wooden architecture phenomenon also. We need to learn and apply information modeling capabilities to create a model of the historical and architectural monument.
