Great falsification of a masterpiece in art

In the present paper we consider identification question of objects of art: falsification or original. In most cases, copied materials for training (receiving skills), but other author copies - for sales. The purpose of forgery - capitalizing, by deception. Sometimes it happens that the apprentice of famous artists who have been able to precisely convey the style of the teacher, wrote his own paintings and sold them out of a great mentor.Differences in such terms as «copy» and «fake» are determined with an appraisal of beneficial and negative falsification impacts. The problem of using camera-obscura and lens by some artists of the past is set. The paper provides examples of certain famous falsificators' works and also cases of discovered forgotten objects of art which had been groundlessly considered forgeries for years. Most people want to believe in the authenticity of a work, and probably many masterpieces would have remained a mystery to us, if not for modern technology, but often fake sometimes ingenious, and its author, and a great artist in the history of such cases is sufficient.
