Formation of skills of librarians as organizers intellectually and leisure activities

The need to assert the professional community the idea of a new model of development of a municipal public library is maintained. One gets the belief that both the state and for the founders of municipal libraries is most preferred model "Library - intellectually and leisure center." Leisure activity, as a rule, is understood only as entertainment. However, in reality the levels of leisure time may be different, among them not only fun, but also education (self), contemplation, and so on. There is reason to doubt that today we can be truly enlightened person without reference to the book. The arena of the information society goes man-intellectual. In the "model standard public library activities" among the main directions of development accentuated position "Library as an educational center - communication platform intellectual development and cultural activities in the country. In general, the problem of intellectualization of the individual library resources is in line with several professional activities - educational, educational, social, cultural, recreational, and so on. Awareness of the practical significance of the problem initiated the introduction of the curriculum for librarians on the third generation of the GEF in the Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts course "Municipal Library as an intellectual and recreational center" as a discipline at the option of the professional cycle. His goal - to provide training librarians, bibliographers generalists, capable of performing the functions of the organizers of the intellectual and recreational activities in the universal municipal libraries - urban, rural, serving as child and adult population. In the course of development of the discipline the student generates and displays a set of competencies among them, such as the ability to analyze socially significant problems and processes; willingness to mastering promising methods of library and bibliographic activity on the basis of information and communication technologies; readiness to establish and provide long-term range of products and services; willingness to participate in the realization of complex innovative development projects and programs of library and information activities; the ability to effectively communicate with the users of the library; commitment to the implementation of innovative processes in the field of socio-cultural and other. Problems of the discipline "Municipal Library as an intellectual and recreational center" is to examine the theoretical foundations of the organization and the development of knowledge about the practice and prospects for improving the functioning of municipal library as an intellectual and recreational centers; building skills the organization of effective intellectual leisure library work.
