Preservation of the classical heritage and inclusion of innovations in the modern university

The problem of article is the next. It is necessary to solve the contradiction what was seen into development of the modern university. On the one hand the modern university fixes specific of its conditions and it is transformed. On the other hand a danger is hidden in these transformations. This danger is the loss its functions (Mission and its idea). Its Mission is to be the social institute of enlightenment and its Idea is an education. An inclusion of innovations is the danger for modern university so it can be transformed into economic organization. Called contradiction is resolved by principle of development what can be formulated the next. The development any social institution (university, including) is realized, when classical traditional heritage is preserved and innovations are included simultaneously. These innovations should be relevant to the historical stage. This means that a balance must be preserved between traditions which act as a mechanism of social development for stable structures and innovations that are the mechanism of dynamic social structures. The solve of this contradiction is actual for modern university because this danger is hidden here. This danger is the next. The university can turn into economic corporation. Therefore the question of the borders for transformations arises into the modern university. The author made the conclusion about the borders of transformations. He consider that the borders of transformations lie into Ethics. Conservation of the ethics of the University there is a limit of the transformations of classical University because it loses its essence (idea) and specific functions in society otherwise.
