In the globalizing modern world unification ideological and artistic process becomes threatening forms. Turning to the issue of preserving cultural identity is of particular relevance. As an effective mechanism for facilitating the manifestation of the uniqueness of cultures, you should consider moving. The purpose of this article is to attempt to identify the specific features of film works, using Siberia as a place of key events. The proposed study demonstrating the efficacy of artistic strategies of cinema that embodies the distinctive nature of identity in the Siberian region. For this, first of all, identify the main components of national and cultural identity of Siberians. Then, consider the stages of formation of the artistic paradigm of Siberia. Next, identify the specific features of the cinematic image of the Siberian region and behavioural models of the characters in his environment. The formation of the artistic paradigm of Siberian identity and image of Siberia took place under the influence of regional literature, documentary filmmaking and feature films. To the distinctive traits of Siberian identity or "Siberian character" are stamina (vitality), diligence, pragmatism, freedom, honesty (sincerity), naivety, teamwork (the ability to be unselfish mutual aid and moral responsibility. These qualities usually assigned to the characters in the films using Siberia as the geography of the story. In the field of documentary films all become diverse cultural aspects of the world that stresses its uniqueness. The viewer gets the idea of national-cultural peculiarities of their living space. With the transition of superiority to the cinema (1920-30-ies), Siberian region in kinoobrazom incarnation begins to identify more complex settings than the ethnographic characteristics. Primarily Siberia demonstrates how space development, testing and struggle. Progressively identifying a set of cinematic models of Siberia is added ethical option.
