The article «Game approaches of traditional folklore as the basic condition of embodiment of its cultural meanings» is devoted to one of the relevant problems of actualization of traditional folklore as a carrier of cultural meanings, their experience and original perusal in the game activity. The phenomenon of game has a variety of embodiments in the contemporary culture, giving a push to different perusals, determined with exploratory foreshortening. One of such specific embodiments is represented in the traditional folklore, which nowadays occupies a complicated contradictory position connected with its versatility, long period of its development, partly the lack of appeal to it in the relevant cultural practices. The qualities of games are inherent to the traditional folklore, which is "played" in its real embodiment. It transforms the real domestic situations into the imaginative structures of folklore activity. Herewith their evaluative semantic content and collectively developed regulative significance are preserved. The folklore game presents reality in conditional but authentic forms. The author shows some aspects of folklore games: scenic course, roles, rules of «game», its symbolic relativity etc. with the help of the example of the ritual «Viyunish bypasses». The choice of this exact ritual was determined with the lack of its illumination in the scientific literature, and some underestimation of its significance among the rituals of birth and rebirth. The peculiarity of the represented folklore game is in its relativity, on the one hand, and inclusion in the practical domestic lifestyle, on the other. Herewith both the existential aspects are equivalent. The game aspects of traditional folklore let understand its effectiveness in the processes of modern cultural communication deeper and more distinctly, which contributes to its actualization in the contemporary culture. Consequently, the cultural senses included in the traditional folklore in the games as one of conditions of its embodiment are transferred to the subsequent generations in the emotional sensual figurative context. Thereby it is possible to outline one of the ways of actualization of the traditional folklore: through its preservation considering the game, modeling of folklore game situations, their reconstruction, involvement into folklore and game activity. All this allows including the traditional folklore into the live cultural practices, adding specific effective bright aspects.
