The Japanese museum thought of Showa (1926-1989): to the study of historiography
This is article about development of museum thought of Showa (1926-1989), specifically about «homeland museum» theory and the establishment of a professional museum education in Japan. Called the names of great Japanese museologists, their works and contribution to the museology, explained peculiarities of some museum terms. The main distinguishing feature of the Showa is is the appearance homeland museums. Japanese homeland museums are analogous to folk museums or museums of crafts, they do not include the zoological and botanical components. The Showa is period of big building of such museums in every region of the country. Leading scientists studied the role of homeland museums in the education, for example, Manabu Miyoshi, Tanadzasi Gentaro and Mori Kindziro. The article shows the connection between the development of museums in the development of the education system, as well as the synchrony the development of the Japanese and global museology and local history. The Japanese museologists took an interest in sphere of communication of museum with society. They are implemented in practice to create their own version of social museum. The article also describes the development of museology - the introduction of museum system in the education system, the creation of museum education at the universities, the emergence of the Japanese museums communities, separation of parts of museum science.
