This task is important in the study of history and development of Siberian fine arts in the second half of XIX century. The article deals with pictorial and graphical works by the painter P.M. Kosharov, which he created as a result of the traveling on Siberian rivers from Tomsk to St. Petersburg in 1883. The joint consideration of all the river landscape drawings by the artist, stored in different repositories, gives an opportunity to imagine pictorial and graphical panorama of not only rivers - Tom, Ob, Irtysh, Tobol and Tura, but also towns and villages located on the banks of these rivers - in the end of XIX century. Small-sized sketches and lithographic drawings, supplemented by explanatory author texts, were made by the painter in the period from 1883 to 1891. Lithographic landscape drawings are distinguished by a careful observance of the laws of linear perspective, sharpness of lines, documentary accuracy in terrain conveyance. Pictorial sketches by the painter are characterized by compositional and color expressiveness, an accuracy in displaying of characteristic traits of Siberian nature. Together both pictorial and lithographic works by P.M. Kosharov are of a great scientific value for historians and ethnologists of Siberia.
