Synesthesia role in establishing of «nonclassic» musicology
The modern musicology makes relevant the deviation from academic paradigm and emergence of "nonclassical" methods considering the worldview change and specific character of musical texts belonging to "nonclassical soundscape". The changing strategy of scientific research is aimed at understanding the root principles of meaning-making in them. The goal set by the article is to highlight the problem of establishment of musicology development "nonclassical" stage and participation in its formation of such "psychomusicology" direction as musical synesthesia, which developed at the intersection of musicology, psychology and esthetics. The article considers the fundamental principles, which are important for musical synesthesia, its application area. The primary objectives and methods of musical synesthesia are revealed. The article shows how synesthetic analysis data create an intrapsychic barrier for penetrating into music of subject and information aspect, narrowing the field of musical meaning. Its task is to find not single "logos" coordinates of musical texts but an ever-changing probable notional core of the image, unsusceptible to the impact of external extramusical factors. It is noted that synesthetic approach fulfills both analytical and interpretive functions but mainly belongs to interpretive types of musical reflection. The article defines the conformity of synesthesia to nonclassical science standing (probabilistic nature of meaning fixation, studying resonance processes created by the interaction of different sensory modalities - sound, visual, kinesthetic ones, emphasizing "non-Aristotelian logic" in understanding musical images). The prospects for integration of musical synesthesia with modern research strategies - intertextu-ality, conceptology, synergetics - are defined. The integrating role of synesthesia in establishment of single directions of nonclassical musicology is revealed. It is noted that synesthesia makes its contribution to strengthening of "nonclassic" musicology fundamental principles based on recognition of nonverbal means importance in musical meaning formation. As a result, the article concludes that musical synesthesia participates in the process of "reformatting" the knowledge about musical art.
