Ethnic tradition as a stylistic category in the regional design
Eco-cultural approach to design determine the vector building design process in the framework of the “tradition - innovation”. The ethnic tradition in contemporary scientific discourse is regarded as the most important unit of analysis of culture, the category refers to a system of accumulation, preservation and transmission of ethno-cultural experience. In determining the link design culture with the traditions of the ethnic art in methodological plan have a value of etnoekologicheskie the concept of T.M. Stepanskaya, N.A. Tomilov, L.I. Nekhvyadovich, ethnic tradition define the stylistic category. The process of style formation in design is natural to have a genetic connection with the style-forming factors in other areas the subject of artistic creativity. Understanding ethnic traditions as a category of artistic style has methodological value in identifying patterns of style formation in design. Etourand-travel design culture determines the inheritance of values, artistic and spiritual tradition. In the modern art ethnic tradition manifested in the system of ethno-art stereotypes, archetypes, symbols. Regional identity in art and design culture are rooted in historical and ethno-cultural traditions. In the myths found expression of the collective unconscious and the archetypes, which are tools of analysis and interpretation in art and design activities. Mythopoetic model of the world contains many prototypes: Path, Horizontal, Vertical, Rotate, Fork in the road, the Entrance (Arch), Threshold, Bridge; natural symbols images: Water, Tree, Mountain. In art and design and art and household contents is implemented one way dialogue with the ethnic tradition of figurative and thematic link with ethnic motifs and themes. One of the main carriers of symbolic code the originality of the ethnic art is ornament. The formal characteristics of the ornament: architectural (structure), semantic (content), syntax (the organization of space and organization of the plane), semiotic (logical, image-based). Decorative generalization of the depicted figures and objects by using conventional techniques, simplification of the figure and form, volume and color ratio is defined as the primary stage of learning and the revival of ethnic heritage. Basic methods of styling: the formalization of a three-dimensional plastic, color, graphic motifs, their simplification and generalization. The main feature of the styling of the ornament is a correlation with an earlier art style, the reproduction of its main features. Stylization in the design of the spatial environment involves the presence of role models or elements already created style. Establishing sources and factors of ethno cultural originality of artistic traditions reflects the dip in ethno-regional specificity and represents a vector of design culture. The style of design is based on ethnoart constants ethnic traditions.
