Ballet work of Igor Fedorovich Stravinsky vastly and plugs in itself compositions, different on subjects, plots, structural organization. An orchestra of his ballets is the mirror оf thinly reflecting evolutional creative processes. Being not only a composer, but a performer, and also a conductor, a composer felt orchestral fabric from within. He operates the knowledge of expressive possibilities of orchestra freely enough, that shows up, for example, already in the first ballets of composer. Early ballet works of Stravinsky contains the scores related to the indigenously national subjects. Orchestral receptions serve as powerful dramaturgic means. In ballet "Fire-bird" the different forms of the voice painting prevail, that answers the tasks of fairy-tale-epic type of ballet. One of the powerful facilities in creation of fairy-tale colour orchestral receptions serve as in this work. A composer creates an individual timbre look for every personage of the musical theatrical. Frequently a key role herein plays exactly timbres of brass wind instruments. In the score of the ballet a large role is taken to colorful possibilities of parties of wind instruments. Fixing after the timbre of ensemble of brass instruments spirit semantics of wicked personages is a tradition for Russian composer's school. Tracing basic principles of descriptions of main personages of ballet, orchestrations related to the features, it is possible to come to the next conclusions.The distinguishing feature of the orchestral thinking of composer in this ballet is exceptional attention to the group of brass wind instruments. Stravinsky sees the paints of copper group in three hypostasiss. The first is related to embodiment of fabulousness in general. The colour of the orchestral brass instruments reflects the atmosphere of magic and inscrutability as good as possible. The second is related to description exactly of wicked personages. And finally, the third proves only in the finale of ballet. The question is about the last number is "Disappearance of Kaschey's kingdom, revival of the petrified warriors, universal rejoicing", where the atmosphere of universal holiday and rejoicing is created with the help of the brightness and brilliance of brass instruments.
