Muzeologists' works as a complex of memorials of Northern Asia cultural heritage

The article is devoted to the problem of preservation of cultural heritage. The historical facts say that since the beginning of the 19th century Russian researchers and muzeologists, such as N.M. Karamzin, B.G. Wichmann, V.S. Ikonnikov, used a variety of monuments of culture and history in their works. Prominent Russian investigators helped to declare that museum is an unique curator of nature and culture memorials. As a result, Commissariat of Education, made in 1918, included among others Department of Museums and Antiquities conservation as well. The idea of preserving and studying of culture monuments in Soviet Russia was held up by the publication of some legislative acts. It is important to note that the Decision of All-Russian Central Executive Committee, issued in 1934, used the expression “cultural heritage” for the first time. Now it is known that 1-st Museum Congress worked in 1930 deprived museums of their scientific value. The work of museums focused on promotion of Socialist ideas. That has led to the deaths of many memorials of history and culture. Outstanding researchers of the 20th century S.O. Schmidt and D.S. Likhachev gave many examples of barbaric destruction of monuments in cities of Russia. Still the idea of collections and preservation of memorials in museums was revived in the second half of 20th century. The author of this article supports the idea that the Museums are the main repository of cultural property. Adequate study of them requires special approaches, for example, classification. Currently we know groups of cultural heritage memorials, which often referred as heritage. For example, architectural heritage, memoirs heritage, documentary heritage and so on. In developing of established the Department of museology, cultural and natural heritage TSU formulated the concept of museology heritage. It includes texts on museum history, reflections on the purpose of museums in society. Formation of the concept of museology heritage reflects the growing role of museums in the preservation of memorials. So the first issue of “Museology heritage of Northern Asia”, produced in 2018, includes articles of Siberian muzeologists, wrote in 1920s. This work needs to be continued. It is necessary to provide not only authored reviews of museums, but publish documents on museum designing, museography publications, the results of museum's expeditions, descriptions of exhibitions and so on. The proposals would improve the presentation of Northern Asia museums; fill the sphere of museology heritage by new content.
