Tuva costume: traditions and modernity
In the Russian Federation, the tendency to use the cultural traditions of the national costume is rapidly gaining momentum. One of the original peoples of Russia, actively developing their unique culture, are Tuvans. Along with the revival of national traditions, much attention is paid to material culture, one of the main objects of which is the costume. The problem of the human body and the costume has been touched upon in the works of I.M. Bykhovskaya, S.Ye. Vetokhina, L.V. Sanzheeva, M.M. Sodnompilova, T.K. Pavlova. The following researchers: E.D. Prokof'eva, S.I. Weinstein, V.P. Dyakonova, S.V. Ivanova, S.L. Sat-Bril, M.O. Siyanbil, A.A. Siyanbil, A.O. Dyrtyk-ool, S.V. Zaitseva, O.Kh. Noozun, A.B. Ondar, and etc. Features of the semantics of the human body may be due to the natural and climatic conditions of the region. Thus, in the culture of the Sakha people physical strength, strength, a healthy body, along with diligence, courage, become a necessary condition for survival. Hence, the aspiration of consciousness to the external manifestation of man. And this manifestation becomes, as it were, an extension, an inseparable part of the natural environment, which is clearly manifested in the structure of traditional clothing. As Tuvan scholars Siyanbil M., Siyanbil A. noted, Buddhist symbols have a very specific, philosophical content. Therefore, their use in costume may indicate the owner's involvement in Buddhist practice. At the same time, non-practitioners can, if they wish, use most of the Buddhist symbols of color and sign, as they include human values, rather than a narrow religious meaning. To create a collection of costumes in the national color, modern designers often use different ethnic images (historical, mythological, religious). The indicated theme of the costumes helps to emphasize ethnic specificity and to feel belonging to your people. In the course of a long historical journey, a rich, beautiful, comfortable national Tuvan costume has been formed, which has retained its importance to this day. Currently, national clothing is applied and developed in two directions: 1) in everyday life as everyday, festive, ritual, religious and sports clothing; 2) in concert activities as a stage costume. Modern Tuvans very rarely wear a full set of folk costumes as casual and festive clothes. Recently, the manufacture of modern clothes in the national style has become popular. Author's design works of Tuva fashion designers V.O. Dongak, Yu.R. Hirbee always distinguished by original decisions of ethnic orientation, in terms of the complexity of the technology of processing products Decorative artistic decision and the use of ornamental motifs are auxiliary means in solving the form of architectonics, being a means of enriching the design of a work of art. Currently, artists and fashion designers, designers do not create “pure” ethnography, but rather creatively interpret the traditions of national costume, taking into account the modern trend in modeling, therefore ethnic motifs are guessed at the level of intuition, but are not emphasized. Traditional costume is a rich historical and ethnographic source, the study of which can significantly clarify and deepen knowledge about the culture of the past, about the numerous cultural contacts and interactions. A prerequisite for creating an original ethnic costume is the synthesis of cultural traditions and innovations.
