Peculiarity cultural space of modern Belgium as an object of cultural analysis
The article discusses the features and factors affecting the formation of the cultural space. Using the example of a multicultural society of the Kingdom of Belgium, the author analyzes the interac-tion of various ethnic groups that make up the country's population. A brief description of the struc-ture of Belgian society, the prerequisites for the formation of a modern cultural space is given. The author points out that the interaction of cultures within the boundaries of space would be impossible without the development of interstate tactics for preserving national identity. The author reveals the problems of a multicultural society associated with the unification of cultures. The article notes the special role of each ethnic group of the cultural space in the formation of the national mentality. The author emphasizes the relevance of studying the problem of the contradiction of class, national-ethnic differentiation of cultures within a single cultural space. According to the author, the timeliness of the study and understanding of the problems of cultural space is dic-tated by the events taking place in modern society. The article indicates the special importance of considering the cultural space from the standpoint of preserving the national culture. The author analyzes the communicative aspects of interaction and highlights issues of intercul-tural relations, the coexistence of a multicultural and multilingual society in an attempt to preserve its ethnocultural identity in the context of the modern trend of unification and globalization. The cultural space is considered in the article as a significant attribute of human existence, without bor-ders and concreteness. The sociocultural realities of Belgium, according to the author, indicate the possibility of tolerant cohabitation in a multicultural society. According to the author, the economic aspect is an important factor in the formation and development of the cultural space. Based on the analysis of the cultural space of Belgium, the author concludes that a strong and stable economy in-fluences the cultural intensification of society. An important role in the formation of the cultural space is played by the state leadership, which in the Belgian cultural space is not directively dominant, but has a recommendatory and stimulating character. This has a positive effect on ongoing processes in all areas of the cultural space. It is the coordinating role of the state that is an essential dominant of stability and sustainability of the cul-tural space. In conclusion of the article, the author, based on various studies, concludes that the cultural space also affects the person himself through external symbolic forms, through a change in lifestyle, through the development of his new look. These processes are significant in terms of socialization and incul-turation of the individual.
