Review of the exhibition "# SibirMonAmur. The legacy of the Mako and Tyumentsev families" in the Tomsk Regional Museum of Local Lore

From August 23, 2019 to January 2020, an exhibition was held in the Tomsk Regional Museum of Local Lore dedicated to the life and work of representatives of two Tomsk families - Mako and Tyumentsev . The members of these families for almost a century - from the middle of the XIX to the middle of the XX - were of great importance in the cultural life of the city of Tomsk. The relevance of the theme of the exposition and its conceptual content. The general theme of the exhibition is the heritage of two well-known families. Thematic emphasis is placed on the specific personalities of these families, who have made a certain contribution to the cultural and scientific life of the city. The exhibition presents objects from the funds of the Tomsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, from the funds of the Tomsk Regional Museum of Art, Herbarium of TSU named after P.N. Krylova, from the GATO. Speaking about the principle of building a museum exposition, it is difficult to single out one of them. In this case, there are several principles: • the principle of objectivity (selected objects are of great importance, since they carry the main and semantic load); • The principle of communication is not fully respected. But if we interpret this principle as the principle of intelligibility and universality, then we can consider it almost complied with. • principle of science - almost all objects are genuine and correspond to the declared era. Architectural and artistic solution of the exposition (spatial model, color, light). An artist was invited to organize the space of two halls. Mostly items are placed in a vertical plane. Most of the photos are placed on electronic media and can be viewed through special touch terminals. Pottery, dolls and sculpture are in a closed display in an upright position in the windows. In the horizontal plane, objects are placed in low, horizontally elongated display cases: objects of an autobiographical nature, a herbarium, books, a subject for taking readings on meteorology. Information design of the exposition. The exposition contains separately made texts that are posted on the walls. Under each graphic work there is a label that includes: name of the author, title of the work, technique, year of execution. For the convenience of foreign visitors, all textual information is duplicated in English.
