Artistic collections in school museums, galleries and exhibition halls in the institutions of additional education of the Altai territory
The activities of school museums with artistic collections have not become the subject of separate research yet. This publication considers the composition of the works of art collections, their demonstration in school museums and institutions of additional education in the Altai Territory, and their role in the actualization of artistic creation. Currently, children's art schools operate in the cities and many regional centers of the Altai Territory. Special attention should be paid the active work of the managers of the exhibition hall of Children's Art School no. 6 and the Academia Exhibition Halls of Barnaul Children's Art School no. 1 aimed at the arrangement of specialized events. The exhibition halls demonstrate the works of students, teachers and professional artists, hold meetings with famous artists. The works of the art schools' students are also exhibited in students' lounges. The Children's Art Gallery "Lukomorye" (Barnaul) has lounges specially designated for the exhibition. The gallery hosts presentations of works by students of Children's Art School no. 2, organizes personal and thematic exhibitions of teachers, professional and amateur artists, presents works by winners of the competitions of various themes and status. Art collections are shown in some museums of secondary schools. For example, in the collection of school no.38 in Barnaul there are works by the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, F.S. Torkhov (19302012); a member of the Union of Artists of Russia A.P. Schetinin; sculptural works of the National Master of the Altai Territory S.G. Mozgovoy . The fund of the Museum of History of School no. 53 in Barnaul contains paintings, drawings and sketches made by the artist M.A. Ivanova (1907-1957). Significant are the collections on the works of the Honorary Architect of Russia, artist and writer, SA. Bozhenko, (Shipunovskaya Secondary School named after A.V. Lunacharsky) and "Gallery of Altai Artists" (Shelabolikhinskaya Secondary School No. 2)". Collections of works of art are the central components of culture influencing the spiritual, moral and aesthetic development of the younger generation. In the galleries, exhibition halls, school museums, students can present their works and assess the prospects for their work. Institutions are available to visitors; some of them take part in the All-Russian cultural action "Museum Night". The State Art Museum of the Altai Territory is forming a fund for children's creativity. Students' works are shown in the Museum of the History of Educational Development in the city of Barnaul. The main activity of school museums, galleries, exhibition halls is their cultural, educational and exhibition work. Being a unique component of the learning process and educational environment on the whole, they play an important role in the development of students' aesthetic perception of the surrounding world.
