Cultural aspects of modern professional education: from a professional to a multidimensional specialist
The article substantiates the response of modern professional education to the training of a multidimensional specialist who is able to work with multiple aspects, ready to generate situational meaning and discursive knowledge. His key character feature is the ability to communicate: both to an open dialogue in multidisciplinary teams, and to a reflexive perception of one's own flexible professional identity. The education system responds to this request with the creation of communication ability. It is concluded that the educational space is reoriented to the generation of common meaning, as the principles and goals of communicative didactics become a support for the disclosure of the pedagogy of meaning, understanding, and co-creation. Author's abstract of the article. The article deals with the cultural aspects of the institutionalized part of vocational education. In order to explicate the image of the culture of the educational space that meets the challenges of modern times, the affiliated areas of culture are analyzed: the modern professional field and its "requirements", the portrait of a new professional - multidimensional specialist, and his key character feature which is the communicative competence of a new level. It is found that the main request of professional fields that have moved from internal regulation with the help of tradition to context-based management is the need to get a specialist who is able to work in "inter-spheres" and "inter-existence", who is ready not to "use" truth and subject knowledge, but to generate situational meanings and discursive knowledge. His key character feature is the ability to communicate: both to an open dialogue in multidisciplinary teams, and to a reflexive perception of one's own flexible professional identity. The system of professional education, grasping this request, "reassembles" the educational reality, giving priority to the cultivation of the existential skill of modern times - the communicative one, which in turn changes both the pedagogical process and the internal structure of the cultural space. It is noted that the most relevant pedagogical strategy of professional education is the communicative didactics, based on the principles of creative activity of subjects of education, recognizing the need for understanding (as the actualization of personal meanings) in the process of interaction with knowledge. The subject content of any knowledge in such educational culture is the result of human communication. It is concluded that the educational space is reoriented to the generation of common meanings that are born in the process of dialogue of all participants with knowledge. The educational process today is a culture of the birth of meaning, which has replaced the culture of the sacred transfer of knowledge. Its main distinctive feature (necessary for the modern world of profession) is the setting of the consciousness of the Teacher and the student in a creative position of knowledge, abilities, skills are replaced by understanding, reflection, co-creation and the search for personal meanings in the process of communicative "work" on knowledge.
