Integration of synestheticity into the spiritual component of musical giftedness: inclusive aspect of research
The development of the spiritual component of musical talent is a complex, multifactorial process closely related to the synesthetic integration of musical artistic perception. The key role here is played by textual and linguistic interaction, which acts as a catalyst for the formation of a deep, emotional-semantic level of music perception. Not a simple comparison, but rather the interpenetration of images, giving rise to new semantic and emotional contexts. A musical image, enriched by a literary context, acquires a deeper spiritual dimension. For example, the analysis of vocal works accompanied by poetic texts shows how a literary image modifies the perception of melody and harmony. Words that carry a certain semantic load and emotional coloring are refracted through musical intonation, timbre, rhythm, creating a synthetic artistic whole that goes beyond the simple sum of musical and literary components. The spiritual aspect arises at the level of synthesis, at the level of new meanings generated by interaction. This is not just an illustration of music with words, but a deep interpenetration that gives rise to new qualitative characteristics of perception. The role of synesthesia in this process cannot be overlooked. Intersensory associations that arise during the perception of a musical and literary work play a key role in the formation of vivid, multidimensional images. Musical sounds evoke visual impressions, and literary images give rise to auditory and tactile sensations. This is the creation of a holistic sensory picture that activates the imagination and promotes a deep emotional experience of artistic content. Inclusion, as a process of including various sensory modalities in the overall experience of perception, contributes to the development of spirituality, since it expands the range of emotional experience and enriches the semantic understanding of the work. The development of spirituality, therefore, is not an end in itself, but is the result of a deep and multifaceted interaction of the musical and literary spheres in the human mind. This is the gradual formation of a more complex, rich and profound inner world, the ability to empathize, sympathize and understand deeper meanings. The study confirms a close connection between the development of musical giftedness, the ability to synesthetic sensations and the growth of spirituality. The author declares no conflicts of interests.
