Lingvocultural research of using lexical units interpretational potential inmanipulative goals

The article is dealing withinterpretational potential of various nominations of same phenomenon using which strategies of manipulationare realized. The research is based on media discourse material, lexical units which are usedboth in dictionary and metaphorical senses are analyzed, the role of stereotypes which are formed withthe help of nominations is revealed.
