Stroganovs library as the expression of the literary consciousnessof the epoch: literary works by German writers of the end of 18th - first half of 19th century

The article isdevoted to the research of the Stroganovs family library which is kept in the Scientific library ofTomsk State University. Its formation at the time of Grigorii Alexandrovitch Stroganov (1793-1857)is considered as a model of literary reflection of the epoch change period: in the situation of transitionfrom the normativism epoch to the epoch romanticism and realism. Reading conception, the typologyof publications and idiosyncrasy of publishing practices are analyzed on the basis of the books byGoethe and Schiller.There are two unique editions by M. Retzch in German in Stroganovs library:Fragments to the Schillers Song of the bell drawn by M. Retzch and Fragments to the GoethesFaust drawn by M. Retzch.
