Formation of the concept of «learning region» in western science
This article is devoted to the origin and development of the concept of «learning region» in modern western science and political practice. Formation of the concept of «learning region» is considered at the level of regional policy, empirical research and academic reflection. The paper analyzes the theoretical foundations of the concept of «learning re-gion», its interdisciplinary and socio-cultural conditioning.
