Роль Европейской внешнеполитической службы в обеспечении Общей внешней политики и политики безопасности Европейского Союза

Рассматривается Европейская внешнеполитическая служба (ЕВПС) как одна из главных структур Европейского Союза, реализующих внешнеполитическую деятельность. Описываются история появления Службы после подписания Лиссабонского договора и этапы ее развития. Внимание уделяется возникающим противоречиям и проблемам в текущей деятельности Службы. Рассматривается взаимодействие ЕВПС с национальными правительствами, Европейской комиссией и иными институтами, структурами Евросоюза. Изучается вопрос о том, какое положение ЕВПС занимает сегодня в реализации ОВПБ ЕС. Авторы заявляют об отсутствии конфликта интересов.
