Mexican clubs in the United States as a form of institutionalization of the Mexican diaspora

This article is dedicated to the clubs of Mexican migrants in the United States, as a form of institutionalization of the diaspora. The main problems related to the migration from Mexico to the US. Migration of the population from Mexico to the U.S. is one of the most important and challenging politic issue in bilateral relations. Besides, the introduction of the new requirements to the U.S. immigration law has substantially complicated the legalization of illegal migrants. There is a significant reduction in the migration flow in the period from 2005 to the present days according to the Mexican and American experts. However, different aspects are the reason for this phenomenon. All this led to a decrease in the number of Mexican migrants. The process of the formation and existence of the clubs (organization of Mexican migrants were established with the arrival of the first Mexican immigrants to the U.S.), areas of interest including legal protection of Mexican migrants, both in the U.S. and in Mexico, job search assistance, as well as moral and financial support from the members of the club were studied. In domestic policy, the most important problems for them are education, inter-ethnic relations and economic growth. In foreign policy, relations with Latin America are the most important, than relations with Europe, and finally with Asia. According to analysis of demographic data a number of foreign experts predict the growing influence of the Hispanic population on the socio-political life of the United States. Hispanic community is not homogeneous; each subgroup has its own niche in the U.S. labor market and develops in its own way. A substantial part of Hispanics in the United States can't be referred to the traditional social groups on the grounds of employment. To achieve its objectives clubs create a network of interactions, not only between themselves but also at the government level, establishing communication between the federal and state governments, facilitate the dissemination of political culture among migrants, development of academic links between Mexico and the United States, primarily through the development of educational programs. It is concluded that these organizations have significant impact on the lives of migrants, as well as on the political situation in the U.S. and in Mexico despite all latest political and economic tendencies in the World Policy.
