The Foundation of the building space of self-identification in school history education

Domestic school historical education, as no other discipline, forced to quickly respond to the challenges of modern social practice. Among these challenges, the special place occupies the necessity of participation of pedagogues-historians in the processes of formation of the Russian identity and the consolidation of Russian society. In the new school standards of teaching the history of the main target stated the education of the person, capable to identify themselves as active and full-fledged citizens of our country. These standards imply such organization of educational process at the lessons of history, in which the student would be able to master the skills of analysis of the major social groups - civil, ethnic, religious, social, cultural, and establish its facilities to these groups. Through this multi-level self-determination is supposed to form the one of the key personal qualities - the ability to recognise and justification of their belonging to the Russian identity. Development of a person capable of such self-identification, is considered in the new standards as a opportunity to get away from inefficient forms of Patriotic upbringing and development of tools for building their internal motivation to participate in the process of consolidation of Russian society. Shift of emphasis in the activity of teachers of history from the usual development of subject-specific knowledge on the formation of world view, principles of students ' personality creates a need treatment and the teachers themselves to the comprehension of his professional and civil position. In particular, such treatment, in our opinion, requires a question about the grounds on which the process of mastering the competencies of self-identification. Need for self-determination in this matter is that it is directly or indirectly affect the prevailing today delimitation on the assessment of the possibilities to overcome the crisis of the Russian identity, choice of methodological and methodical bases for the development of the competencies of self-identification in a secondary school. It seems that all these differences to the current teacher-historian must proceed from the understanding that the full consolidation of Russian society can be ensured only in the process of formation of all participants in the formation of an active position of subject. This activity is equally should be implemented in their activity for the creation of their own senses of subject matter, and in the construction of their own identity.
