Role and place of integration structures in the system of international relations in Central Asia
Globalization processes in the world require the interdependency and complementarity from the international actors. It becomes more difficult for countries to integrate into the international political processes, as a result the influence of international integration structures increases on a worldwide policy. The article devoted to the analysis of the role and place of international organizations of the regional as well as international level on the relationship of the Central Asian countries. This region has all the characteristics of the political and economic significance, such as energy resources, demographic factor, vicinity with the important world and regional leaders. Such conditions led to the fact that the Central Asian region attracted a lot of attention and interest of the worldwide community. Integration processes are an essential part of modern world order and one of the main products of globalization. Integration within the framework of Central Asian region is not only an objective reality but also a vital necessity. Existence of any state always supposes co-operating with other countries, both in a bilateral and a multilateral format. The author brings factors which influenced to the regional integration. Main challenges and threats existing in a region, and their influence on socio-economic and political processes are defined. It is necessary to mark that after the breakup of the USSR all countries of this region began to speak about the necessity of establishing new integration structure that would recreate connections of the former USSR. However during the process of the statehood formation of the Central Asian countries were distanced from each other regardless of the life logic and international integration processes. They pursued a foreign policy mainly relying on the extraregional actors. The integration structures functioning on the territory of Central Asia are analyzed from the point of view of their organizational component. Examining integration processes in Central Asia it is possible to make a conclusion, that having all real preconditions for the integration for 23 years' existence as independent actors of the international relations, they still have not built united regional organization. It is possibly related to the historical past that determined their long development within the framework of one state and owing to this the aspiration to prove, that they could independently develop in economic as well as in political spheres, and to present themselves as the advanced and competent actor of international relations. In a conclusion the author cites a thesis about inevitability of Central Asian integration as a main factor of steady development of the countries of this region.
