The contest of projects on improvement of organization of educational and research practices TSU as a mechanism of transformation of the corporate identity of employees of a research University

With the advent of universities in market relations, external state and ideological authority of the corporate identity of employees has shrunk. Its integrity, not internally stable, has been undermined by individualistic attitudes, with their focus on personal success. As a result, began the process of dividing the University community on successful and unsuccessful subjects of education, which led to the collapse of corporate identity. One serious consequence of such a decay was spreading confrontational and coping forms of establishing a corporate identity for University employees. Special hazard described the crisis poses to the development of national research universities, their activities focused on the improvement of efficiency and competitiveness. The danger is that "non-involvement" of employees in innovation activities of universities leads not only to the split of the Corporation, but, more importantly, deprives it of significant resources to internal development. As one approach to overcoming the crisis is possible to use developed in Tomsk State University model and involving employees in change management. The key mechanism of the model has become a contest of projects for the improvement of educational and scientific activity at the University. The results of the two competitions have confirmed the effectiveness of this mechanism, showing a rapid increase in the number of its participants. An important outcome of the contest was to turn it into a special club space in which to "meet" each other various University subculture - humanitarian and technical, innovative and academic, youth and age. In this space there is a further development of a culture of dialogue and tolerance, penetrating into all spheres of the activities of its employees - educational, scientific, social, domestic. It is in this space, in our view, there is a restoration of disrupted during the crisis, the integrity of the corporate identity of the University staff, but on a fundamentally new basis of common interest in the innovative success of their University. The contest of projects on improvement of organization of educational and research practices of Tomsk State University appears to be an effective mechanism for the positive transformation of the corporate identity of employees of a research University. In the present context of crisis of corporate identity developed in the TSU model of involvement of University staff in change management and project contest allow to create favorable conditions for the transition from confrontational and coping forms of identification to the development of active methods to enable the development of innovative corporations.
