The influence of external forces in the course of the uprising in the Semyrechye in 1916
Strengthening economic and military might of the Russian Empire was extremely unprofitable for European states sought to extend its influence in the Eurasian continent. Turkey and especially Germany have spent a lot of money to destabilize the internal political situation in Russia and on its outskirts, not sparing funds for defeatist and socialist propaganda to destroy the tsarist empire from within. The First World War strengthened the political and socio-economic crisis of the old social order in Russia, accompanied by a drop in the authority of the tsar and his entourage, rising inflation, despite the fact that the government was inefficient and corrupt. During the war, German agents flooded the Russian, penetrated the highest echelons of government and the High Command. Even more corrupt management system was in Turkestan edge and Semyrechensk area, control of which from the capital was difficult. The advent of Russian immigrants to own land and rights of the indigenous population of the region forced him to seek support from Muslim countries - the same Turkey - promise deliverance from the power of the "infidels." After implement the decree, developed by the head of government B.V. Sturmer, on 25 June 1916 on bringing indigenous population to work in the rear, in Turkestan were the elderly, women, children and the army of many thousands of prisoners - a well-trained military and Sino-working citizens, among whom were active anarchists. Chinese anarchists could penetrate freely only Karkara, in Przewalsk and Pishpek counties in the number of workers involved opium business. It is in these areas uprising has become a mass and bloody character. The military noted, that insurgent groups have organized in the manner of military units, had their own insignia, worked intelligence in preparation for the offensive, the rebels dug, established between the optical signaling units. Contemporaries noted that the rebels led by experienced foreign military who owned the tactics of modern warfare, which the herdsmen do not serve in the army, were not familiar with. Absolutely all the peoples of Turkestan have become a tool of struggle in the hands of foreign states against the Russian influence in the region. The Russian state, the cost of huge material and human resources for the development of these areas, though failed to crush the rebellion, but was unable to stop the growing process of destruction of the monarchical foundations of statehood. As a result, thousands of civilians of Semyrechye and Turkestan region were killed, and were disrupted by significant food supplies for the army and the rear, which in no small measure contributed to the defeat of Russia in the war and hastened the violent change of power in the country.
