Source issues and the value of the relics N.I. Pirogov, and memories of E.N. Akhmatova for the reconstruction of his religious-philosophical views 1828-1848
The article is devoted to the study of relics of N.I. Pirogov, located in the collection of the Pushkin house, Institute of Russian literature оf Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg), namely the original of the poem "Dream" (1842) and authentic letter of N.I. Pirogov to his first wife, E.D. Berezina (1842). This collection of autographs is the only collection of letters of N.I. Pirogov, the subject of which indicates the change of his philosophical-religious outlook. The autographs are located, mostly, in chronological order, starting in 1842 (the poem "Dream") and ending 1875 (letter to his son, V.N. Pirogov). The exception is a letter to E.D. Berezina. The letter is located in the center of correspondence with A.A. Bistrom, second wife of N.I. Pirogov, originally wrongly attributed to it, because it has no date and no addressee. About the year of writing the letter and its recipient can be judged only from its contents. This collection of autographs in the form of a book in a blue morocco cover was transferred by V.N. Pirogov, a younger son of a surgeon, from Marseille (France) to S.Y. Strikh, the famous biographer of the surgeon, for publication. This bound volume of letters comes in the manuscript Department of the Imperial Academy of Sciences. For Surgical Museum of his father in Saint-Petersburg V.N. Pirogov makes a copy of the poem "the Dream", which was discovered in the Fundamental library of the SCA n.a. S.M. Kirov. In the table of contents to the collection of autographs there is a link: "(copy in Mus.)" Studies have shown that these letters were really written by N.I. Pirogov and represent valuable sources for the reconstruction of his religious-philosophical views in the period from 1828 to 1848. This period was characterized by the rise of religious sentiment (under the circumstances of a personal nature: difficulties in the work of the Imperial medical-surgical Academy, serious illness, death from complications in childbirth of his first wife, E.D. Berezina), then retreat to position worldview "heavily leaning to materialism" (in times of stability and success in professional activities). Memories of E.N. Akhmatova belong to the period 1843-1848 and complete the picture with information of a personal nature about the family atmosphere, and also the circumstances of the death of E.D. Berezina, the first wife of the great surgeon. These materials are considered in the light of recent studies of the late twentieth century, when the concept of "conflict of science and religion" ceased to be a dogma, and attempts were made to develop a constructive synergistic approach to the subject, i.e. the theory of religious-philosophical systems and a multidisciplinary approach to the analysis of theoretical-practical activities of doctors.
