Neo-nazi movement and ideology in modern democratic Germany

This article is devoted to the problem of neo-Nazism in modern Germany. The purpose of the publication was a comprehensive study of this issue on the example of neo-Nazi groups - “Comradeship” and “Autonomous Nationalists”. The activity of neo-Nazis, the dissemination of their views in society, the involvement of young people in their ranks are closely linked with the activities of these groups of the neo-Nazi camps of the Federal Republic of Germany. These groups are an integral part of the neo-Nazi movement that exists within the framework of the right camp as a whole. The author demonstrated the relevance of the topic, a number of definitions of neo-Nazism and its representatives from the official bodies and science, briefly reviewed the history, roots of ideological attitudes, and also highlighted the features of the youth group of the so-called “Autonomous Nationalists”. The points of view in the science of the causes and factors affecting the manifestation of the activity of right-wing extremists and neo-Nazis were considered. It was found that the groups considered in the article are an integral part of neo-Nazism. These neo-Nazi forces are united by a commitment to the ideology of National Socialism. A different form of its distribution is the boundary between these groups. One group is in the camp of the so-called “traditional” extremists, the other in the revolutionary youth camp. At the same time, the second of them is the most aggressive and uncontrollable by the standards of the neo-Nazis themselves. The impact on the activity of neo-Nazism and rightwing extremism, in general, is due to various reasons and factors: from the next influx of migrants and refugees to the sociocultural problems associated with the process of their integration. The question of the existence of the threat of neo-Nazism for society in modern Germany is highly relevant today. At the federal level of countries, there are various neo-Nazi groups that preach their ideas among young people using a variety of methods: from propagating their ideas through song lyrics at musical concerts and on the Internet, to grafting them on the spot during rallies and demonstrations. However, their work is not limited to pure propaganda. Every year, crimes are committed against refugees and migrants on racial basis. Very often in the news, there are reports of attacks on migrants and arson of their homes. At the same time, lawsuits against the most odious representatives of neo-Nazism as the National Socialist underground can last for years. The promotion to the parliament of such a right-wing party as “Alternative for Germany” serves as a signal that a crisis of trust in the authorities is growing in German society. But at the same time, being an indisputable threat to the liberal, democratic society of Germany, neo-Nazis, like right-wing extremism as a whole, are marginalized by the country's political life, having no mass base to secure the necessary breakthrough in The ground for this is objective historical reasons.
