Phenomenon of historical reconstruction in receiving new knowledge of the past of society

The article deals with a phenomenon of historical reconstruction as youth amateur movement. Positive interpretation of the specified subject can serve as an additional material for further profound studying of such diverse phenomenon as reconstruction. The article purpose is to actualize the importance of the historical reconstruction, acting as an effective way of receiving new knowledge of the past of society in the context of education and upbringing of the younger generation. The source base of our research was made by a wide range of various sources: 1) the documents of the movement, including charters of clubs of historical reconstruction, the rules, the program, the regulations for running events etc.; 2) the Internet resources, presented by the websites and associations of clubs of historical reconstruction, which give the chance to expand the source base, and also to fill the niche, which was formed due to the lack of appropriate number of publications about this movement in Russia. The methodology and technique of the research is based on the principles of scientificity, the principles of dialectical connection of the cultural phenomena and processes; methods of theoretical and applied cultural science, and also the cultural and anthropological method, allowing to consider culture as the instrument of broadcast of new knowledge and practical skills in cultural and leisure domain of society. Despite the considerable amount of literature on various aspects of historical reconstruction, there is insufficiency of scientific developments on the subject of our research. At the same time, different types of reconstruction on the problems of its educational potential, gaming and cultural phenomenon have been examined by S.V. Bogdanov, N.S. Bozhk, E.M. Veselova, I.V. Glukharev, A.N. Milyukov, etc. While conducting the research, the authors have come to the conclusions that the amateur movement, including elements of the scientific direction, promotes development of interest in historical roots of people, knowledge of features of cross-cultural communication. The Internet resources, which provide the programs of numerous clubs of historical reconstruction, conducting scientific search, carrying out cultural and educational and general education work, serve as the confirmation to it. The monitoring of the concrete movement practices has shown that accumulation of knowledge of the past of society passes along most effectively in the form of thematic feasts, role-playing games of live action, show, which communicative space creates a unique opportunity to acquire new knowledge by preparation for game action. Thus, the prospects for further development of the phenomenon of historical reconstruction in getting to know the past of society consists in the analysis of various activities of participants of the movement on preservation of material and non-material cultural heritage, on reconstruction of ancient technologies under modern conditions, and also in continuous link of times, generations, traditions, providing inviolability of moral values and patriotic spirit among young people.
