Modernity as the text and context of the global history

Evolution of understanding Modernity in foreignglobalist studies is examined. A loss of social and political optimism in papers of modern researchersgets with the critics of global history's linear-progress schemas, opening doors to the principles of the synergy and transitivity of historical progress. A historical dialogue with social anthropology, ethnopsychologyand context linguistics favors the new metanarrative.
