About some evidences of study biography and creative work by G.N. Potanin (by funds of the statearchive of Novosibirsk region)

The big role in picking the creative heritage of G. N. Potanin belongsto V.D. Vegman, the head of Sibarhiv and Sibistpart. Searches were undertaken with the aim to gather in the fullest possible form, and subsequentlypublish biographical and creative materials of G.N. Potanin. Wegman attracted to the searches Siberian historians, archivists, bibliographers.In Sibistpart and Sibarhiv were collected manuscripts, Potanins letters, the materials for the biography. In Sibistpart there weretransferred Materials of Committee of Inquiry anout the matter of Siberian regionalists that were previously stored in the library of the WestSiberian department of Russian Geographical Society, there were made efforts to pass a Sibistpart the materials of the same subjects, storedin Irkutsk. By 1923, V.D.Wegman collected materials of artistic heritage of G.N. Potanin, that were in Tomsk They were transferred fortemporary storage to Tomsk State University. Materials of collected Potanins archive had been claimed already in 1920, in particular by thePushkin House and the Library of the Academy of Sciences. Vegman was success to collect the text of memoirs of G.N.Potanin (publishedlater, in the 1980's.). Documents of Potanins archive, kept in Tomsk State University, were at the center of political affairs of 1929 about thestorage of Tomsk University Library «counter-revolutionary» material. It was similarly to organized several months earlier point against theLibrary of the Academy of Sciences, with which began the defeat of academic science in the USSR («The academic work»). Thanks to theefforts of the Novosibirsk researcher of the revolutionary movement in Siberia J.M. Kuznetsov in the 1970's there were revealed the autobiographicevidences about G.N. Potanin - letters of his secretary in 1910 - 1914 and 1918 - 1919 years M.M. Morelli. Letters are not published,stored in a personal fund by J.M. Kuznetsov in GANO
