Activities of the Altai provincial economic Meeting for a development of education in the province in the 1920th years

Activity of the Altai provincial economic meeting in the 1920th years is considered. Analyzing its work, the author notes that the important place in its work was taken by questions of national education and, in particular, development of professional education. It is emphasized that despite difficult economic and social situation in the Altai province the task of preservation of establishments of education was set. Materials of provincial economic meeting contain concrete measures for their preservation and development. In particular they provided attraction of various sources on financing and material security of work of establishments of education. The attention that despite difficulties existing at this time the task of observance of the principle of cost accounting was set is paid. The special attention in activity of the Altai provincial economic meeting was paid to questions of development of professional educational institutions in the province. The author measures which were taken by economic meeting on the solution of an important and difficult social problem reveal. It is emphasized that all this allowed to provide with professional shots for begun the 1920th - the beginning of the 1930th years of the accelerated industrialization. In article results of carried-out work in the field of education in 1920 that allowed to lay the foundation for one of the best education systems in the world and policy in the field of education now when Russia significantly handed over positions in this area are compared.
