Locally optimal inventorycontrol with time delays in deliveries and transport restrictions
The problem of inventory control of the echelon structure of warehouses and the structure,consisting of wholesale and retail warehouses, is considered. The peculiarity of the problem is thepresence of many transportation delays and restrictions on the vehicle capacities. There are proposedalgorithms for solution of this problem, which are based on optimization of the modifiedlocal criterion and the criterion of minimizing total costs on a sliding interval of optimization. Theobject control with delays in control is implemented without expansion of model. Control obtainedby realization of this method can be applied in real-time mode.
