The 2020 constitutional amendments, approved by the multinational people of the Russian Federation, significantly updated the socio-cultural, political, legal and moral aspects of modern constitutional reality. As a result, ideological and interdisciplinary assessments of constitutional law have become even more important. New values have been introduced into the constitutional text. Some of them were unexpected and unusual for the traditional constitutional text and have obvious novelty (for example, faith in God, respect for a man of work, and others). Many amendments have stirred up domestic scientists, especially representatives of constitutional and legal science. Important and indisputable amendments are "the protection of historical truth" and "the feat of the people in the defense of the Fatherland." The approval of these constitutional amendments and their inclusion in the text of the Basic Law were predetermined by the logic of the ideological struggle in the modern world. The amendments are the official reaction of our peoples to attempts to revise and belittle the heroism of the people. The distortion of the history of the Great Patriotic War and the contribution of the Soviet people to the Victory over Nazi Germany is the state policy of many countries. The main ideological meaning and content of the falsification and distortion of the events of 1941-1945 is the anti-Soviet and anti-Russian orientation and denial of the role of the USSR in the victory over Nazi Germany. Therefore, the constitutional amendments on historical truth and the heroic deed of the people in defending the Fatherland are the legal basis for the formation and development of ideas and values that shape the civic outlook of Russians. In accordance with the new norms of the Constitution, the pedagogical community is obliged to create ideals. The principles and moral values of students. The amendments have important educational potential for modern Russia. In connection with the updates of the text of the Basic Law, the idea of the legal personality of the people must be developed as an urgent scientific problem. The new provisions of the Constitution are not only norms of the highest legal force and direct effect, but also have the status of moral values. The legal obligation to protect the historical truth and the heroic deeds of the people in the defense of the Fatherland does not limit or detract from freedom of speech, thought and scientific creativity. It requires compliance with the principle of scientific objectivity and ideological honesty of the researcher. It is necessary to consistently explain the true historical fates about the heroism of the people. According to the Conclusion of the Constitutional Court of Russia dated 16.03.2020. The inclusion in the constitutional text of provisions on honoring the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland and the protection of historical truth cannot be regarded, interpreted and applied as changing the principles of moralistic democracy and freedom of creativity.
