The mission of the Russian Journal of Lexicography is to accumulate the intellectual potential of scholars and practitioners for the purpose of discussing and solving the topical issues of theoretical and applied lexicography, and new concepts of dictionary compilation.

Voprosy Leksikografii Russian Journal of Lexicography is indexed in the Scopus и Web of Science Core Collection.

Russian Journal of Lexicography is the only periodical in Russia, and one of the few editions worldwide, devoted to the issues of lexicography.

The Journal is registered in Ulrich's Periodicals Directory.

The Journal is included in ERIH PLUS (The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences).

The Journal uses double-blind peer review.

The Journal does not charge paper submission, processing or publication fee from the Author or the Author's Affiliate.

The Journal informs its readers that its English title has been modified: the Journal of Lexicography title (2012-2015, is. 1-8) has been specified to the Russian Journal of Lexicography in 2016.
