On an improvement of evaluation criteria for the seismicity distribution over latitude intervals
A modification of methods for studying the seismicity distribution over latitude intervals is proposed. Introducing normalizing factors for latitude intervals makes it possible to take into account the fraction of the Earth's surface occupied by an individual latitudinal range and to more accurately reflect the effect of tidal forces on seismicity in each latitudinal interval.
