Motion of nanotubes in an air medium under the influence of anelectromagnetic field
The dynamics of nanotubes as homogeneous unstrainedstructures possessing their own magnetic moment due to presence of intercalated iron isdescribed in the paper. The resistance force conditioned by air molecule impact on the concernedparticle was determined. An asymptotically exact solution of the problem of nanotube motion in amedium with resistance was constructed. Rotation of a tube around the center of inertia was studiednumerically in the case when the initial orientation of the tube does not coincide with the directionof the external magnetic field vector.
