A physico-mathematicalmodel of dynamics of a particle size distribution function taking into account processesof coagulation, evaporation, and sedimentation

The mathematical model is based on the Smoluchowski equation describing the dynamicsof the change of the size distribution function for liquid-drop aerosol particles with allowance forevaporation and sedimentation. Applying the theory of dimensions, it is possible to receive thecriteria characterizing the relative efficiency of coagulation and evaporation processes. The parametricalanalysis of the equations in a dimensionless form is carried out. Results of the experimentalresearch of disperse parameters of aerosol are presented.
