The Cauchy problem for long wave equations in the axisymmetric case

The Cauchy problem for a system of integro-differential equationsmodeling the free-boundary vortex fluid flow is considered. For the initial data satisfying thehyperbolicity conditions, the solvability of the Cauchy problem in the small with respect to timeis proved.
