Contact affect of a rigid element on an elastic cylindrical body
The paperpresents the computational technology that implements problems of the linear theory of elasticity incylindrical coordinates. Special attention is paid to the area of contact between two bodies. To disclosureit, it is proposed to use difference grids with an exponential position of nodes on each of thethree coordinate directions. According to the calculations, the affect of a squeezing element generatesbreakdown zones in the distribution of the circular shift component on the cylinder surface.
