Computer-based study of the dependence of mechanical properties of brittle porous material on the partial concentration of pores of different size
A two-dimensional model of a brittle porous material with bimodal pore size distribution is constructed in the context of the movable cellular automaton method. Based on numerical calculations, an analytical estimate for the dependence of strength and elastic properties of the material under compression on its total porosity and the partial porosities of pores of different size is proposed.
