Performing analysis Sonata for violin and piano A-dur Cesar Franc
The article analyzes sonata for violin and piano A-dur S. Frank from the point of view of the pianist-performer. The author determines the place of the sonata in the composer's work. A detailed analysis of the means of musical expressiveness in all parts of the cycle forms an idea of the features of the author's style of the composer, based on a combination of classical and romantic traditions. Performing analysis includes questions of pedalization in the piano part, as well as problems of musical form and drama.
