Vocal poems by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel "Soupir" by Mall arm e
The article gives a comparative analysis of two vocal poems written by French composers Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel in 1913 on the poem of the symbolist poet Stefan Mallarme "Soupir". Based on the analysis of the performers, the interpretation of expressive means, intonational and timbre dramaturgy, the authors draw conclusions about the peculiarities of the interpretation of the new vocal poem genre for the beginning of the 20th century. Interesting observations about the individual interpretation of composers through form.
