Modeling a composer approach to work as a method of pianist's creative work
The pianist's creative methods are practically innumerable at various stages of training and concert activity. One thing remains unchanged and undeniable: the pianist works with someone else's text, one way or another he is dealing with a work "suffered" by another person. It is this circumstance that imposes certain properties on the process and the result of the pianistic - namely, performing work. Often technical tasks "come to the fore", the musical text is subject to thoughtful "decoding" and often loses not only sometimes necessary immediacy and "improvisation", but also deeper layers of meaning and content of the work. It is in this context that the need arises for such a method of creative work by a pianist as modeling a composer approach to a work. This method seems relevant at the later, "pre-concert" stages of mastering the work, when the technical performing techniques have become almost automatic, when the work is already "in hand". The proposed method is based on the psychological "tuning" of the pianist - the ability to imagine, being on stage, a different situation. In the present situation, it is not the pianist-performer who performs on stage, but the composer - the author of the work -performs a "composer show" of his new composition, most likely among friends.
