"Dama Pic" by Pavel Lungin as intertext
The article presents an intertextual analysis of Pavel Lungin's film "Dama pic"", aimed at identifying the deep connections between modern fiction films and the opera P.I. Tchaikovsky's "Queen of Spades". Focusing on the relationship between the opera diva and the young singer, claiming the role of Hermann, the author writes about combining two plans in the film text: artistic reality, relevant to the "Queen of Spades" by Pushkin and Tchaikovsky, and reality as such, marked by signs of the modern sociocultural situation. This refers to the gaming business, in which, along with a card game, there is also a game of the so-called Russian roulette, which creates an additional meaning to the words of Hermann: "What our life is a game!".
