Formation of active, independent, creative thinking in students in musical pedagogy

The article emphasizes the importance of the formation, in the process of musical learning, of active, creative thinking among students. Practical recommendations are also given to solve this problem. The student's ability to work independently is emphasized, which seems especially relevant in the context of modern educational technologies that gravitate to distance learning. The distance format, which brings learning in the correspondence type, sharply increases the need for students' independence in all areas of academic work.
