Creation and distribution of content: ethical regulators in the digital media space

The article examines the ethical problems and dilemmas facing modern journalism. New media technologies affect journalistic practices and ethical standards. The author traces the link between ethics and professionalism, and draws attention to the fact, as ethical practices are intertwined with the technological, economic and sociopolitical conditions of the new media environment. The article is intended to foster academic discourse on the role of media ethics in the digital age.
